ASTM A1011
The A1011 specification is the Standard Specification for light gauge Hot-Rolled Sheet and Strip Carbon(CS and DS), Structural(SS), High-Strength Low-Alloy (HSLAS), High-Strength Low-Alloy with Improved Formability(HSLAS-F), and Ultra-High Strength (UHSS) steels in thicknesses up to 0.230” (6 mm) in coil form. General requirements for the grades covered in A1011 can be found in ASTM A568.
The A1018 specification is the Standard specification for heavy gauge Hot-Rolled Sheet and Strip Carbon(CS), Structural (SS), High-Strength Low-Alloy (HSLAS), High-Strength Low-Alloy with Improved Formability (HSLAS-F), and Ultra-High Strength (UHSS) steels in thicknesses over 0.230” (6 mm) up to and including 1.0”. General requirements for the grades covered in A1018/A1018M can be found in ASTM A635/A635M.
