Marine & Offshore Steel Plate

API 2H Grade 50

API 2H Grade 50 is a high-strength, low-alloy structural steel plate that is specifically designed for offshore structures in the oil and gas industry. It is certified and regulated by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and is commonly used in the construction of offshore platforms, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels, and other marine structures.

API 2H GRADE 50 is a 50,000 yield heat treated carbon manganese steel. Properties are obtained through controlled rolling or normalizing. This product offers excellent strength and toughness, allowing it to withstand the harsh conditions encountered in offshore environments, including high humidity, saltwater corrosion, and impact loads.
